FAQ Pro Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how UpitSolvers (“we”, “us”) handles information in FAQ Pro (the “App”), a Wix application.

1. Information the App stores
The App stores the FAQ content that the site owner creates (questions, answers, categories, display order and visibility) and the widget’s design settings. This information is stored within the site owner’s Wix site, using Wix’s data storage, and is used only to display the FAQ section.

2. Information we receive from Wix
To provide the correct plan, the App asks Wix whether a site has the free or Premium plan, along with basic technical identifiers such as the app instance ID and site ID. We use this only to unlock the correct features and to provide support.

3. Site visitors
The App does not collect, store or track personal information about site visitors. It does not use its own cookies or analytics. Searches that visitors type into the FAQ search bar are processed in their browser and are not stored or sent to us. If a visitor uses an optional social sharing button, they are taken to that social network’s website, which may collect data under its own privacy policy.

4. Search engine markup
If the site owner enables it, the App adds FAQ structured data (schema.org) to the page so search engines can read the published questions and answers. This contains only the FAQ content the site owner has published.

5. Payments
Payments for paid plans are processed by Wix. We do not receive or store payment card details.

6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent any information. Information is processed by Wix as our platform provider, under Wix’s privacy policy.

7. Data retention and deletion
FAQ content remains on the site owner’s Wix site until the site owner deletes it or uninstalls the App. Site owners can edit or delete any FAQ at any time from the FAQ Manager in their dashboard.

8. Support emails
If you contact us for support, we use your name, email and message only to respond to you.

9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
